To provide durable, appropriate, learner-centred, educational materials to primary schools nationally, to help to develop the individual potential of teachers and learners, specifically in the areas of numeracy and literacy.

Edupeg seeks to achieve the above through materials resourcing and effective teacher training, to complement existing national government educational policies.

  • To make learning meaningful and fun during the essential formative years of education.
  • To instil in young learners a positive attitude towards learning, particularly towards numeracy and literacy.
  • To provide support for the classroom teacher by providing a graded, challenging, fun programme that is easily understood by learners; is flexible and easy to utilize.
  • To upgrade teachers’ skills and increase their, (the teachers), awareness of Outcomes Based Education, where learners are integrally involved in the learning process.
  • To further increase the knowledge and skills of national education officers, particularly with regard to Outcomes Based Education and the development of numeracy and literacy.
